Meetings and Potluck
Annual Meeting of Members:
An annual meeting of HHMC’s members is held in November of each year for the election of trustees, consideration of the budget for the following year and such other business as the Board of Trustees determines to place on the agenda.
At each meeting, voting is limited to members who were record owners of Highland Hills property as of a date 29 to 75 days before the meeting date. The record date is set for each meeting by the Board of Trustees. A new owner whose closing occurs between a record date and a meeting date must obtain a proxy from the seller if the new owner wishes to vote at the meeting.
Monthly Board Meetings:
A meeting of HHMC’s Board of Trustees is held at HHMC’s office at 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month (unless the first Wednesday is a national holiday, in which case the meeting is held on the following Wednesday). In the event the Board changes the schedule, members are given notice at least 10 days in advance.
Members are encouraged to attend Board meetings.
Meetings are tape recorded by the Secretary to assist in the preparation of minutes. Other recording is not permitted.
Annual Potluck:
An indoor potluck takes place in the late summer or early fall each year.
